People and society

Let us be a caring company

Over almost 60 years, the Reynaers Group has tremendously grown to count over 2,650 employees today. And our global family only keeps growing.

To stay true to our humble beginnings as a caring family-owned business in Belgium, we manage our human resources in a careful, sustainable way. Connectedness and mutual trust are key elements to our success. Want to learn more? Discover our caring commitments below.

The facts

Sustainable human resources management focuses on three pillars: productivity; engagement; and physical & mental health.

Our impact

To show we care, we create a motivating and attractive work environment for all our employees. We implement their ideas to do better and make sure new colleagues feel equally welcome. Moreover, we give back to society by supporting local charities.

Our actions

Act 1: Lifelong learning and personal growth

Personal growth is a key factor when it comes to feeling fulfilled at your job and heading sudden changes in the market. With a broad offer of training programmes, we support our employees in exploring their talents and improving their lifelong employability.

Act 2: Growing together at a great place to work

We care for the wellbeing of all current and future Reynaers Aluminium colleagues. With regular worldwide employee surveys, we monitor what issues live in our company and improve our daily workings accordingly.

Act 3: Safety at work

It is better to be safe than sorry, which is why we work hard to make safety a second nature to everyone working at Reynaers Aluminium. Since 2021, a safety dashboard accurately tells us if we are meeting security goals, both in our warehouses and at our offices all over the world.

Act 4: Reynaers for Community

Giving back to society helps a company stay connected to its direct and indirect communities. For example, the Reynaers for Community initiative supports different local charities that help vulnerable people toward employment and a brighter future.

The mini-MBA programme at Reynaers Group has been a great opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues from different departments all over the world.
