As part of Reynaers Group, Reynaers Aluminium is committed to limiting its carbon footprint through a fully-fledged environmental strategy. Our core objectives are inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals, as defined by the United Nations. Attaining these objectives heavily depends on the continuous efforts of innovative businesses across the world. That is why, at Reynaers Group, we have taken the SDG model into account while drafting our very first sustainability strategy, Reynaers Act.
For instance, to contribute to more sustainable cities and communities (SDG #11), we are constantly expanding our range of certified systems and components with Passive House, Minergie, and Cradle to Cradle Certified® solutions. Moreover, by choosing renewable materials and by partnering up with expert organisations in the field, we are able to limit our carbon emissions and reduce our operations’ ecological impact (SDG #13 & #17).
But why stop at the product level? Our direct and indirect communities are equally valuable! Visit one of Reynaers Group’s facilities and you will notice that safety is our number one priority. Strict safety regulations and training help us create a healthy and secure working environment for all (SDG #3 & #8). Outside our offices and warehouses, we realise a positive impact through various charity campaigns, such as Reynaers for Community (SDG #1). These initiatives help us give back to society in a meaningful and long-lasting way, as we strive for a better world together.
Reynaers Aluminium, as part of Reynaers Group, is a certified SDG Pioneer since November 2023. The "Pioneer" title indicates our company is actively helping advance the UN sustainable development goals worldwide, either by improving our own activities or by enabling other businesses.
